The Permian Basin: We have spent over a decade honing our expertise in the Permian Basin, completing hundreds of transactions with energy and oilfield service clients operating in the largest oilfield in North America. We opened our Midland office in 2019 and today have completed more industrial transactions than any other firm in that market.

The Team Behind the Deals

NRG was founded by President & Managing Broker Justin Dodd in 2015 to focus on the unique demands of shale and industrial markets. Since then, he has personally brokered more than 400 office and industrial deals for energy-related clients in every major US shale play. Under his leadership, the company has strategically expanded, bringing together a diverse team of professionals. Each team member contributes specialized expertise that strengthens NRG’s ability to execute transactions efficiently and deliver exceptional service. While many firms focus solely on deal volume, NRG’s growth has been built on a collaborative culture – where success is the result of shared effort, humility, and a commitment to doing right by our clients.

Expanding to Meet Ongoing Needs: Management Services

As portfolios grow, so does the need for disciplined property and asset management. Recognizing this, we welcomed Jordan Hall as Director of Asset Management in May 2024 to launch NRG’s Property Management Division – created to help owners and operators protect cash flow, control risk, enhance tenant satisfaction, and more.

Jordan brings valuable experience managing nearly $750 million across diverse asset classes, and under his leadership, the division has grown significantly in just a year’s time.
