Case Study: SB Directional

Perfect Permian Presence

The Client

SB Directional offers a full range of directional drilling services that can be tailored to any company’s specific needs. SB Directional Services has worked directly for 50 different operators and have drilled more than 1500 wells in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana and Texas.

The Challenge

SB Directional’s President had initially resisted the idea of utilizing NRG Realty Group’s brokerage services, believing that they could do it on their own. SB Directional did find a suitable building and shared a post about it on LinkedIn. An NRG broker noticed the post and reached out to congratulate them. He quickly discovered that the lease for their new facility had not been finalized and fell through leaving them in a precarious situation. SB Directional was in urgent need of an alternative property.

The Solution

NRG’s proactive approach and commitment to finding the right solution led him to identify a 7,500 SF building available for sublease in Odessa, TX. We facilitated the sublease transaction, ensuring that it met SB Directional’s specific needs and objectives.

The transaction details included negotiating lease terms, addressing any necessary improvements or modifications to the property to accommodate SB Directional’s operations, and ensuring a seamless transition for the company to its new Permian Basin location. This case study underscores the importance of adaptability and the value of working with experienced professionals to navigate complex challenges in the real estate oil and gas sectors.
